The UFC on Saturday sees two championship bouts on the International Fight Week marquee, as former featherweight titleholder Ilia Topuria meets Charles Oliveira for the vacant lightweight crown in the main event and Alexandre Pantoja puts his undisputed flyweight belt on the line against Kai Kara-France in the co-headliner.

Topuria, 28, enters the cage with a perfect 16-0 record and 14 finishes to his credit. He last saw action at UFC 308, where he retained his featherweight championship—the Spaniard vacated his throne to move up to 155 pounds—for the final time with a stirring third-round knockout of Max Holloway at UFC 308. On the other side of the equation, Oliveira has rattled off 13 wins across his past 15 appearances. He last suited up on Nov. 16, when he improved to 2-0 in his head-to-head series against Michael Chandler with a five-round unanimous decision over the three-time Bellator MMA champion at UFC 309. Oliveira held the UFC lightweight title from May 15, 2021 to May 7, 2022.

Further down the main card—which kicks off at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT—for UFC 317, Brandon Royval confronts Joshua Van in a flyweight showcase, Renato “Money” Moicano tackles Beneil Dariush in a lightweight attraction and Payton Talbott challenges Felipe Lima in a bantamweight feature.
